Raymond Felton has signed a partnership deal with Under Armour, becoming the global footwear and apparel company’s first NBA endorser in the New York market.
“Under Armour is taking basketball to the next level with innovative products providing players, like myself, real performance benefits,” he said. “From everything I’ve seen, I know the brand is really committed to growing the game at the NBA, college, high school and youth platforms. I’m looking forward to sharing my insights with the team and being a part of the Under Armour basketball movement.”
The terms of the contract were not disclosed, but it’s a multi-year agreement. Previously, Felton was tied to adidas. Since the start of the season, Felton has been wearing Under Armour’s Micro G Torch sneaker, but the deal wasn’t made official until Thursday. UA was attracted to Felton because he entered the season as an underdog with something to prove.
