It isn’t very often you go to basketball practice and NBA pros are there to get a quick sweat. The young UMD Terps were fortunate to have that rare surprise. John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, Michael Beasley, and Roscoe Johnson all showed up at College Park for a game of pick up one afternoon. It was just another sunny afternoon for an open practice for UMD that turned into a exciting full court jam session upon their arrival. Speaking of jam sessions, those things can become hazardous you know, hazards like James Padgette this particular evening was one to look out for and the Washington Wizards point guard didn’t do too well at avoiding it. Michael Beasley showed a similar habit recently when he was crossed over at the Goodman Coalition in DC. DeMarcus Cousins was a freight train during these games and Roscoe Johnson threw in a few impressive slams on the break for spectators (they were hazards too) so it would be a good idea to get out of their way in the paint. Too bad Pe’Shon Howard sat out this game, there is no doubt that he would have put on another spectacular performance like his last visit to the Goodman League in Washington, DC. It must feel great to be a UMD Terp. See you guys tomorrow for the next video!
