While NBAers and executives are still trying to reach labor agreements with no luck, this is what the pros are doing in between. You would imagine some of the players scrounging for jobs overseas, but instead they find the time to get into games like these and entertain us. These games may be starting to get a little washed out but there’s not much of a debate because tickets for this game sold out! The steamy Palestra gymnasium felt like it was 80 degrees and filled to its max seating capacity. You can’t just fill up any gym like this unless you have names like Tyreke Evans, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Hakim Warrick, and Lou Williams. According to ESPN this game was made possible thanks to two Syracuse alum, Carmelo Anthony and Hakim Warrick. Warrick told ESPN that he always wanted to arrange a game like this but never took action. Then watching games such as Capital Punishment and Melo vs. DC motivated him to get things moving.

“I was trying to do a Philly and Baltimore game awhile ago,” Warrick said. “Then when I saw Drew League vs. Goodman League and Team Melo vs. Goodman [on Tuesday night], I was like, ‘Man, let me go ahead and set this up.’

Make sure you check out the top plays from this game as well here.
