The much anticipated Goodman League vs. Drew League game details are finally public! Arguably the two best summer leagues in the nation will have at it on August 20, 2011 at 6:30pm at Coolidge High School in Washington, DC at 6315 5th St. N.W Trinity University (125 Michigan Ave, Washington D.C.). This event will be the ultimate showdown and definitely one of the biggest events out of the DMV area. This is DC vs. LA, East vs. West.
Now the biggest question here is, who will be representing the West Coast and who will be representing the East Coast? The rosters are as follows:
The Goodman League:
Kevin Durant (OKC Thunder), John Wall (WAS Wizards), Tywon Lawson (DEN Nuggets), Gary Neal (SA Spurs), Tyreke Evans (SAC Kings), Michael Beasley (MIN Timberwolves), DeMarcus Cousins (SAC Kings), Josh Selby (MEM Grizzlies), Sam Young (MEM Grizzlies), Donte Green (SAC Kings), Hugh “Baby Shaq” Jones (AND1 Mixtape Tour), Emanuel “Duce” Jones and Warren “D-Nice” Jefferson.
The Drew League:
James Harden (OKC Thunder), DeMar DeRozan (TOR Raptors), Nick Young (WAS Wizards), Dorrell Wright (GS Warriors), Brandon Jennings (MIL Bucks), JaVale McGee (WAS Wizards), Craig Smith (LA Clippers), Pooh Jeter (SAC Kings), Bobby Brown (Aris BC), Marcus Williams (MEM Grizzlies) and 3 players TBA.
Tickets will be going on sale July 29, 2011 in select DTLR, Shooters, We-R-One stores as well as gogoradio.com. Locations will be released soon. Ticket prices are as follows: General Admission $25.00 and LIMITED Floor seats $60.00.
Doors open at 3:30pm, AAU Game at 4:30pm (Team Takeover vs. TBA), and main event at 6:30pm.
